Instructions

  1. For this quiz, you will be helping to construct another cookie dataset. You should have one pack of coffee-flavored Chips Ahoy cookies. Each pack has two cookies.
  2. Wash and dry your hands. Clean and dry the outer surface of your phone. You need your hands to open the packaging, lightly crush the cookies, and to take pictures with your phone.
  3. Take a clear picture of the outer packaging containing a series of alphanumeric codes. This will be called Image A. You will be uploading this picture into the questionnaire at SPOC.
  4. Next, determine the first and second cookies. Check the example below.
  5. Next, carefully and lightly crush the first cookie. Separate the coffee chips from the chocolate chips. Take a clear picture in a similar manner as the example below. This picture is called Image B. You will be uploading this picture into the questionnaire at SPOC. Count the number of coffee chips and chocolate chips. You will input this information in the questionnaire at SPOC.
  6. Repeat Item 5 for the second cookie. The picture is called Image C.

Example for illustration

I illustrate using coffee-flavored Chips Ahoy cookies. You will be uploading three images. I will call them Image A, Image B, and Image C.

Image A

Image A is a picture of the outer packaging containing a series of alphanumeric codes. Type these codes directly into the questionnaire.

Image B

Image B is a picture of the crushed version of the first cookie. There are six coffee chips and eleven chocolate chips. The rest are too small.

Image C

Image C is a picture of the crushed version of the second cookie. There are seven coffee chips and eleven chocolate chips. The rest are too small.

Some weird cookies you may encounter

This is from a pure chocolate chip cookie. Notice the extra large chocolate chip near the lower right. This can happen to you. If you encounter this type of chip, you can put it in your total, but make a note or remark (what some may call 备注) of this in the questionnaire.
